hi all,

i´m trying to make an insurgent map, but not noraml insurgents, i mean militants as insurgents vs a normal army... i think britan. i just want to now what you are think about the idea and the very very WIP map. i hope i get what i mean, so just some pics from editor

... no objects, no done terrian, very WIP ;) ...

Looks quite interesting, nice idea, but cant really comment as like you say, its very WIP.

didnt know you are THAT desperate :D


but anyway, this map is looking alright, strange terrain. Post about what you want to do exactly with the map, not just i want militia vs brits...

halvor, seriously, get a own forum and some stuff ingame, and THEN you can look for maps, till then, the maps will go to existing factions, because what you currently do is a bit anoying

hmmm,... i dont realy know what you are meaning,... but i think i dont got any.

and to what i want to do with that map is:

it is based in an area like kosovo, but not that time or that conflict! the normal army will move in that area and search for cashes of the militans. the big gree thing ,left down on minimap, will be the city (i still looking for good statics :( ). there will be a lot of "forest comabts" and also so open areas, so that tanks or apcs can jion the battle. that is it so far...

no at the mom i dont want to add rivers or lakes. and yes 1 city, 2 small villages, a "sand mine" :) , maybe a factory, mabye a vehicale-checkpiont also maybe a office of the army in the city and some lil frams and a "base" for the militans (base on th hill in pic 1).

and i dont use some pic form google earth, but i got some refence pics already :)

Don't we have enough British maps now? Would be cool to see something new for a change, Mec/Pla vs Militia for example.

thanks jonny,..but i n´dont want to make a map with AAS mode i wanna make a map insurgent mode!

but you give me some nice ideas and i will try to make some of it happend :)

so first of all please want with all that object and village things... i still have to make the terian done, and when we will talk about villages and so on :)

i change some things on my map and will update this with some pics in maybe a week or that...

i will update the first page of course :)

..and for all who wanna say "weird" or something, note that this is my first real map, so im a beginner!

Just a quick hint about the "wierd" texture of the terrain that I found useful on my recent start was creating "low detail terrain", or something along those lines.

This made the terrain look much more natural from a distance.
