On the battle for qinling I attempted to fly the Merlin but guess what.... it lagged about 500 times worse than it did in 0.6 and it DIDN'T STOP. I couldn't even take off from the ground because being in the pilot seat would drop me to 0 FPS every 1-2 seconds. I could sit in any other seat without any problem whatsoever. I'm not sure if it's only this map but please... FIX IT
And to confirm it's not just me I had a full squad and everyone tried getting in the seat, some without a pilot kit and some with and every person got lag, i'm not sure what they were running on but I was running on all medium settings 100 view distance and my specs are :
nVidia 7600 GS
2 GB ram
AMD 64 3400+ (~2.4 GHz) processor

I had merlin issues on basrah - I was still getting 75fps, but it was very stuttery like I was only getting 15fps. Very difficult to fly and needless to say I got shot up very quickly since I wasn't comfortable flying low or using anything but basic evasive maneuvers. I only hopped in coz no one else was trying to fly it either.

Re: Merlin lag issues
This happens to me too, and the same thing happens on dirtbikes... can this be because too low broadband width? right now i have 2mb/s (but the pings under 70...), but im getting 100/10 this week, i write if it gets any better)

Re: Merlin lag issues
Simple problem, for now, turn your EAX OFF, and Sound Quality to MEDIUM, for now, i make a suggestion that the DEVs of Project Reality, STRIP the Merlin(and possible Huey) and rebuild from the ground up.
Doing that sound change, FIXED this issue.(at least for me)(im running on all high, 100 VD(View Distance) AA=OFF, im pretty sure it has nothing to do with your hardware)
