Seperation in the heat of combat

Post by SGT.JOKER »

Ive been on a Basrah/Qwia binge lately and this has happend to me a few times.. In the middle of a fire fight have you ever gotten seperated from your squad in the heat of the moment? Like you where pursuing the enemy or just plain old lost track of your squad mates and didnt realize they where at the main base/firebase/bunker until you where all alone? Most of the time this has happend to me Ive also found myself in a situation where the enemy knows where I am, but Im also trapped. For example on Al Basrah I was a medic near the refinery area, my squad was under heavy insurgent fire and inbenounst to me all got killed and the RP destroyed...it took me a while to realize but I was all alone near the building that the car has crashed into, the insurgents knew where I was so I backed up into that building and waited, some insurgents would run in and Id take'em out, was only a matter of time before they got me on the reload and took me out. I have a few more stories like this one but Im more interested to hear your guys simmilar expiriences

Same story on bas... but

I had to bail the chopper on the way back to base. Paradropped behind lines and acted the best i could, giving my team intel and so on.

usually i do that unless i'm squadleading or medic, or sometimes everyone in my squad died and rally is gone i'm left alone. I sometimes prefer to work alone in some cases.

Only time I've been seperated was when I had a marksman kit and was busy killing every incomming soldier, I didn't see my squad had moved on until they were around 200 meters away from me. They could have told me :P

Nah but I know what you mean, hole squad is gone, rally destroyed, but I usually go darkside rambo like under those kinda situations.

You know = "No one kills my squad without payback .. "AAARGH!!!! CHHAAARRGGEEE!!!" .. Then I usually just die by a headshot or something like wise.

yup same stuff happens to me but not as bad, seeing that its usually me who gets killed first lol. In al basrah, and other maps, I get pinned down a lot in a ditch by an MG or HMG. My squads all spread out and I usually get killed. Rather annoying at times, but that's war... That "behind enemy lines" thing was cool polden.
