Core files/Full files

Hey, i decided to download PR but ive got one question. Ive heard all over that im suppoesed to get the core files and the level files, but in filefront (where im downloading from) theres the full client files, which in the readme says all i need is bf2 1.4. so if i download this will it work?

click the "files" link on the homepage. and ull see what you need. there will be links to the core files and then links to the levels. If you download just the core, u still cant play because you dont have the maps

But then what is the full client files?

I figured out i was just downloading the minimod
900 MEGS thats insane

P.S. ive got another problem, every time i try to play bf2 weather it be POE2 or the minimod i just got it freezes at the kit selection screen (im playing sp) is there any way i can fix this without having to reinstall bf2?

Hmm ive had something like this.. when you start the game go to controls hit "reset to Default" and save it. start them game and see if that works.

That seemed to work but now it will load the map and freeze about three minutes later
i think ill just get the actuel pr mod since thats what i wanted any way.
