Depends on what you want to fly.

agreed... the jets all handle quite differently in the air, and helicopters of course are in a whole different category. Helicopters tend to be easier to fly, though.

Arjan and i put in about 45 minutes of work on takeoff and landings in an A-10. I got the takeoffs down but the landings im coming in to low and scraping the fence.

I flew a bit after and noticed that with lots of the other jets, mainly the frogfoot, I cant taxi. The arrow keys, no matter how long I wait, dont seem to work for taxing so im using my joystick. When I use it with the frogfoot, the plane shoots backward at about 100km

I can fly helis well, good enough to take into combat and do some decent work.

I also made 2 or 3 gun runs with the A-10 on south village in Kashan. I found myself working really hard to steady the gun and rockets on a specific building or vehicle, and rarely hitting them.

Didnt even try to bomb 0.o

Oh well.

Thanks again for the help arjan : )

It is normal, takes practice.

I learnt the basics I guess after years of flight simulator, but then you need to practice in PR.

Feel free to join the .:iGi:. community server password: training, running the training mod you can find on the forums. Search "training miminod". :)

Blackhawk is probably the easiest heli to learn, you cant flip it when taking off at least

I like how the Blackhawk rolls. I think its the most realistic handling chopper in Project Reality.

Sounds like you're using the reverse thrust with the frogfoot, it's the only plane that has it now. You'll have to find the neutral spot for your thrust lever on your joystick.

or try to fly in the single player coop mode. There you have moveing targets you can attack. But beware of the mig on kashan ;-)

Its very nice to train there, and with hamachi your m8 can join to and fight against bots...

I have so much fun there with my soflam. This laser guided bombs are funny like hell!
