Hi 8-)
It's my frist post in this PR forum.I'm from Taiwan :wink: .Maybe you have seem some squads with the name"TW".They were all from Taiwan and talked noisily :o

By the way. Does anyone know how to damage a track or turret and wheel?
I have checked the manual.But nothing found.
And I tested it today.I shot the tank track by another tank main gun.But I just could not damage the track...Why? :confused:

My tank sometimes had a damaged track after fights :cry:

The damage is random, sadly. The BF2 engine does not support realistic damage systems. You can shoot a tank in the back and the tracks might be damaged. Or the turret. Or nothing. Just depending on the damage taken afaik.

By the way, to avoid confusion, many squads including the letters "TW" might just refer to "TeamWork".

Reduce the tank health to about 10% and you might get a damaged track or a damaged turret

The equalivant on a heli is engine failure and a broken tail rotor

ye, unforintly we cant tell the BF2 engine that if a shell hit the tracks / turret to disable it, you can hit the tank in the turret and its tracks will be disabled :p

would it be possible if the [DEVS] had that code thing so we can change the hard coded stuff

If they did have it, then they would have had it a long time ago.

With the source code, i doubt any of those suggestions would be "impossible". They'd just need some work to do i guess. But... i dont see any way the Dev's could get anything like the BF2 source code.

we send a under cover secret agent int to the EA headquarters and steal it lol....but ya some ppl asked y they didnt have it ..its cuz EA is kinda selfish..and just wont give it to a third person party they dont know...

but about the tanks..yea its random..in fact i only see it happen rarley
