Kk,
Let me begin by saying that we all know that the LSW is SA-80's sister weapon, it looks like the SA-80 but with a longer barrel, now since the SA-80 is already on BF2, how cud i get it on G-Max and make the barrel for it and change it's rate of fire and etc etc !
PLEASE HELP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEe

I'd recommend starting off with something much simpler.
Like a square box. I'm serious. I'd also spend a LOT more time experimenting and researching than I would posting for help in the early stages.
If you do want to model something that we might include in game as part of PR, I can probably find something simple that we could use.
However... you will really have to do a lot of your own research and experimentation. Once you get thrugh the basics, and can make boxes and other less complex models, we could arrange for a trial and you could build something simple and specific to PR. We have some very talented and knowledgeable folks, but they'll want to see you taking A LOT of your own initiative.

Quoted for truth.'[R-DEV wrote:eggman']I'd recommend starting off with something much simpler.

You'll be needing to make your own weapon from scratch. Start simple, follow a few tutorials for modelling (if you need it) and then importing and coding the weapon. Then come back and post about any problems you're having. The process is far too long to guide someone through in a forum post.
P.S. isn't the LSW going out of service anyway?

I don't think the LSW is appropriate as a support weapon in PR mostly due to mag size issues. Probably see the Minimi in Para config (my preference).
I don't think the LSW is actually in practical use as a SAW anywhere in the world (much like the MG36).
I thought I read somewhere that Brit Troops had actually used the L86 as a sniper platform???

You need to download the gmax tutorials seperately.Darth.Skyline wrote:Yip ! i will do my own research, i just suck at seraching for things !!. plus i keep getting error saying G-Maz help/tutorials are missinglol.
Tutorials here
And here are the help files.
edit: More specifically, gmax is a cut down version of 3ds max. On the whole, the same tutorials should work for either. You may notice a few differences, but for the type of modelling you'll be doing, they'll be practically the same.
