I just press my buttons in a random motion, the more random the better chance I have i guess, but I'm no seasoned pilot!

i fire two flares then push the stick very hard in any direction gaining altitude helps as your jet goes faster. try flying over you main base or friendly AA. use those afterburners and if all else fails try and get them to crash. fly really low and doge hills and trees and stuff nothing funnier than looking back and seeing the enemy jet crash into a tree :D

I succesfully dodged a ground to air missile today on Kashan while in a Cobra by putting the nose down and turning sharply, actually saw the thing whizz over the canopy!
Something to add to that. I was piloting a cobra and i had a friendly cobra nearby, we spotted two mi28. We dueled it out and when i desployed flares and evaded one of the havocs ata missles meant for us hit another cobra from it changing course from our flares. I laughed so hard, but they were pissed.

Morale from this story keep ur spacing when traveling in groups in the atk chopper.
