[Proposal] N-Koreans as OPFOR

i managed to land myself in the s**t in the thread to do with the DR of congo as an opfor

so my idea is for the Koreans, already got a basic idea for scenarios

also had another idea for an OPFOR faction, Koreans?

think to the news last year, with them going nuclear and everyone worried, surely it wouldn't be hard that in the PR future they got more powerful and the west had to intervene?

you could have maps based on the underground nuclear facilities in the valleys, would be quite good

ideas, and should i start a new thread on it to avoid hijacking here?

btw i have very basic coding skills so will hardly be able to contribute sadly (spose i could learn though)

will update this with stuff thats needed (weapons, armament etc)

anyone willing to help, will be looking for everything really! mapper, coder, modeller, skinning, you get the idea

EDIT::: updated this post with design plan, will probably change alot, but its got the general stuff sorted

they could turn out to be quite a nice faction as they are currently changing alot of kit, so will look very unique in PR

well i though tof the koreans mainly because it adds another conventional opfor, and with the influx of western forces coming soon to completion Germans, (canadians are getting close too i think)

thought this would be good and quite easy to implement, and would add some interesting maps and environments

only problem i've found atm is that getting info on them is damn hard, as it stands every kit has a Type-56.

well from the design plan theres a fair bit of reskinning, so you'll have plenty of practice!

i spent ages yesterday trying to find stuff and couldn't find everything about them

have a gander at the design plan if there's "TBC" on something then i couldn't find what it was, Automatic Rifleman's weapon was one, and also need to find out what they use as a carbine (for the spec-ops class)

but if you can do some searches for that and just post your findings in this thread that'd be brilliant. thanks.

seriously, no they don't, there uniforms are rather primitive though the newer stuff looks a bit better

plus they use completely different kit to the chinese

the only other opfor i had thought about is a jungle rebel force (if anyones ever dabbled in Novalogics Joint Ops then they have a rough idea as to what i'm on about)

but i was thinking more for the koreans because they have more 'hardware' so are more of a conventional force rather then ins/militia
