Start with reading the Manual.
Second. . . Push T.
Select from this. . .after being in a squad and following orders.

Some one had too much cofee.

Read the manual, and that will explain everything.

READ THE MANUAL! OR THE GUIDE, but I'll be nice, first, you have to be in a squad, go to the main base, or rally point. Hit the T button and it'll have a commo rose, there should be one that says request kit. Jets and Helicopters require the Pilot kit in the list, Tanks require the Crewman kit in the list. Thanks take two people to operate(from the same squad), and the gunner can fire 3 different shells, armor piercing sabot's, High Explosive Anti Tank(HEAT) or smoke. Jets are different from vanilla jets and take practice, preferably in a local server that you make yourself, and not wasting jets in an online game crashing the jets that takes 20 MINUTES to respawn, also Attack Helicopters preferably use 2 people also, start out as the Copilot so an experienced pilot(in the same squad) can line you up for kills. Anymore questions, consult the manual or the online guide.

wow you all help alot, as they all said reading the manual will help but here ill give it to you,

Go to a Flag or Plane, heli, tank and press "T", from there pick the Crewman for ground(APC, Tank, and AA) and Pilot for air.(heli, Plane) Then press "E" to enter and there you go your off and fighting. Please practice on the planes and helis before joining a public server. And if you have anymore questions, feel free to PM me.

My advice:
For the love of god, read the manual on how to fly, and practice in a local server before going to public servers.

-To request a kit, join a squad. Hold down the T button to access your Squad communication rose. Right-click on Request Kit in the center of the comm-rose.

a) Choose 'Pilot' kit to fly attack/transport helicopters and bomber/fighter jets.

b) Choose 'Crewman' kit to man MBTs (main battle tanks), APCs (armored personnel carrier) and IFVs (infantry fighting vehicle).

If you are told to wait to request a kit, you have either:

a) just joined the squad and need to wait a minute or two to request one.

b) killed a civilian in Insurgency game mode and can't request kits for ten minutes.

c) teamkilled too many and must wait until you can request another kit.

Welcome to Project Reality. :)

we all hate reading....but this will tell you almost everything you want to know.

Read the manual or take the chance of being kicked off server all the time and being called a noob. :-P

You'll pick everything up after that.

Yeah. We've all been there before (In one way or another). However, it is REALLY useful to read the manual, no matter the application (as long as its within reason). It is actually there for a reason, but it is up to the players to read. I usually read the manual whenever I play a difficult game or do something complicated as such.

That being said the ONLINE GUIDE is a great asset. I didn't even read the manual, just the guide, and I was good to go :-) . The learning curve was just as bad as BF2 Vanilla, not worse.

Bottom line, like said many times before, read the manual, and welcome to PR.
