"Kashan round is too long"

What the hell? One of the reasons to stop playing Vbf2 is because when the round just finally starts becomming funny, it ends.
The hole long round thing is freaking awesome, always something to do, kill and devastate.
And that hole 10 min transport to a location (It really aint gonna take longer if you even have a somehow decent team.) You can use that time talking to your mates, you know having fun, that is one of PR aspect which I always enjoy :)
No reason why you can't sing the humpty hump into the voip.

Anyways since others posted their thoughts of 16/32/64 so will I.

16 = Don't mind it as long as I play the transporter.

32 = My absolute favorite cause of the attack helicopters.

64 = I love flying. To take off and land... Unfortunatly I can't dogfight so that map is when I become a transporter.

OKLAHOMA = I have the excat same problem :(
Operation blow some shit up= http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=0be_1191945284 PR need more guys like him.
And less guys like him obviously= http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=121_1212951769

I love Kashan 32/64.
Epic long battles, various things to do.
You can drive around in tanks, fly some of that stuff with wings and rotor blades or just get lost fighting with the AAV to drive straight forward.
But most of the time I find myself leading an infantry squad since all the tanking is in vain if noone caps the flags.

First, it is to capture one of the villages being overcautious due to the hostile tanks that may pop up just right behind the village. Then to the (in my eyes often very intense) bunker fights. When there are 3 hostile squads attacking your bunker and your squad is the only one in range to defend that flag, it really is MASSIVE. Some rounds ago, there were huge amounts of bodies piling up in the toilet and down the roof stairs before reinforcements arrived (reminding me of Pavlov's House).

Camping tanks are not that big of a bugger to me. I've always got a H-AT in my squad and if he fails its either laser marking the target or just hide until its down and defend your position.

And for you guys sick of waiting for transport/tanks or running miles in the open desert:
It's not a masterpiece to keep a tank running half way through the map. Sure, unless you're very lucky, you'll eventually get shot. But if you try to be patient to let the enemies come into your sights and not the other way round, you might end up with something around 40-2 at the end of the round.

I rarely need transportation. At the start of the round I'll get me a com truck and a Funvee and usually I can keep both up until we arrive in the bunker complex. Of course there are times, you have to respawn in the mainbase, but you can still use one of them com trucks or ask the choppers to get you a lift to a safe LZ.
Just a matter of patience and caution to stay alive on that map (Dont drive over a hill at fullspeed if you dont know what is behind it f.ex.). I often find myself spending minute after minute just using my binocs on a hill top while my squad is falling asleep behind me.

Only time I tried to run from one flag to another were during my first 5 minutes of PR. Joining Kashan, I didnt expect the map to be that HUGE and started running towards a flag. Somewhere in between MEC Mainbase and South Bunker a chopper picked me up. Since then I either stick with my SL driving or spawn as an engineer and be my own taxi.

Kashan 16 is boring in my opinion - only thing you have to fear are snipers or a .50cal somewhere on the hills. On 32/64 you've got tanks, AAVs, LAVs, Choppers, Jets and the aforementioned .50s and snipers to be aware of, making it a lot more intense.

Kashan will ctd while it loads quite often, I wont come back for it especially but I do try and play it sometimes since a good squad can make it an ok map

I find that it depends on the players that are playing on kashan as to you whether you get a good round or not. I wouldn't say that it's a bad map in itself. I think it highlights poor teamplay/co- ordination more than any other map and that is why there are so many people complaining about bad experiences on it. Alot of the other maps you can get away with minimal teamplay and still have an enjoyable round. Basically it's pretty hardcore in that respect.

( I'm talkign about the level of teamplay by a team as a whole, not an individuals teamplaying)

i love the map.

its one of the maps in pr that have all the nice toys to use... and the map is big enough to use them right.

And what u all say about the team. Witch map makes fun when your team is stupid? No one. So it has nothing to do with the map.

I love to fly arround with my chopper to give the ground guys the air support they need to handle the big toys.

Yesterday we had such a great round on kashan 32. (Mora was there to)

I find it very boring that some Dev´s had make very good work on the toys, but on the most maps you dont have them or the map isnt so that you can use them right.

So 90 % of all maps is inf only. And that i dont like. Dont get me wrong i like to play as inf. But not the whole time. And on kashan you jump in a tank, aav, a chopper or jet.

And if you got nice air support, its so funny to play this map on food.

See a tank, stay down, call the A 10 or the chopper, set your mark and wait for the boom...

On no other map you can have this kind of teamplay...

one guy here said, reduce the spawntimes and bring more big toys. So it cant happen that you have to spawn in main and there is nothing to drive back to the frontlines...

i totally agree that. such a great and big map has to have more toys. or and they have to spawn faster :-)
