MD5 errors

Post by Violator101 »

After my first night of playing this im having a terrible time with bugs. The latest is this ramdon crash and dissconnecting of the server that gives me a message rambling on about "ignoring MD5 tool queries" and "MD5 missmatch fonts". I have no idea what MD5 is but i really do not like it.

I have tried that. Uninstalled PB, reinstalled PB, updated PB, uninstalled PR and reinstalled BF2 1.41.

How about a patch instead since this is another mess with BF2 mods? I have never found 1 addon or mod for BF2 that installs smoothly.

This is a PB problem but i doubt they care.

Sorry i can't help then. PB always causes problems, just one of those things, and your right they probs don't care, i mean PB is really the only software that any online game uses so they have no competition therefore no point in making it work properly.

Thats exactly how it is. The only anti cheat software just happens to cause more other problems its a double edge sword. You either have an ""unprotected"" server and let the scumb get their kicks or you have PB and most of us get kicked without cheating.

I have never seen a game where PB runs smooth. Theres Crazzy lack of logic that we should get kicked for their lack of technical expertise.

Oh well i might as well uninstall this mod. shame i liked the maps.

I had MD5 errors in last two days for objectlogicinit.com (204 8) and ../pr/object_server.zip.

De-installed PR.
Installed 0.708 core.
Installed 0.708 levels.
Installed 0.756 patch.

Been on few servers (10th, Thors...), seems ok for time being.

hth

MOD plz close/move this to Help'n'hardware?

Yer its a damn shame. Its the end user that always end up losing. So many great multiplayer games and mods have suffered because of PB. It will probably be really simple for PB to fix the problem as well, they have the experience, but not the willingness to do anything about it.
