IF this faction gets EJOD, would it be much truble if they have the Fixed Anti-Tank Gun the Militia has on Fool's Road? Just place them between the MEC base and the City along the trenches.

Give them tanks on Kufrah or some static AT or something because when I'm manning Ch2 the only opponent is the MEC tank (T-90?).The APCs are just useless VS tanks. The MEC has no chance against well organized tank squad with 3-4 tanks+ engineers.

If you're planning on using the RPG-7V as HAT please ask USI for their model. The vBF2 one is awful.

Yeah should be good or maybe the G3 marksman variant as the sniper?

The SVD and Mosin both have the worst scopes possible for both rifles. Something like 3.8x and 4.0x. SVD is usually equipped with 9x. It also uses 7.62x54R, a more powerful round. For some reason it's as fail as brit marksman in PR which has near half the barrel length and a tiny round.

Jonny wrote: As for the RPG-7V I am using it because the MEC LAT guy uses it (I think) and I dont want to use any more powerful missile system for what amount to reserves. Using the same AT system also makes it obvious that they are the same faction, but a different branch.
The MEC rifleman AT is going to use the RPG-26 in the future. This according to the guide.

Jonny wrote: The PSO-1 is a 4x scope, but the markings could be a little slimmer. Shame we cant change that really.
How come you can't change it? I've always hated that scope, most because it really doesn't look like a RL PSO-1.

Perhaps some older rifles could be used as a sniper rifle :)

Jonny wrote:The CH2s are against 6 (or more) BMP3s, and last night with a BMP3 my squad absolutely slaughtered the CH2s on the ABA server. Remember, the MEC start with the flags, so have little need to assault right away. They also get BRDM scout cars to locate the enemy armour before engaging and to transport engineers. Massed BMP3s beat the CH2 quite easily, they have a 100mm main gun (using HEAT) and a 30mm coax (using API) remember. I always have the T-62 to fall back on in very limited numbers if I absolutely need it.
Do what you think is best. 6 BMP3s might work.

SVD
Length: 1225 mm
Barrel Length: 620 mm

L86 LSW is a bullpup
Length: 900 mm
Length of barrel: 646 mm

But yea brits bullet is small.

Nah, the RPG-26 is a single-shot disposable AT-weapon like the AT4. Really wouldn't fit as HAT. RPG-7V would be better. More rockets and a scope will be a great advantage over the LAT. Just make sure you ue the USI RPG-7V instead of the vBF2 one...
Jonny wrote: What scope is it then? What is its magnification? I will change it if you find out, but AFAIK its supposed to be a PSO-1, and all the google results say that has 4x magnification.
Weill, it's supposed to be a PSO-1, alright. And the PSO has 4x magnification, that's correct. Just that the vBF2 PSO-1 is ugly as hell.

Just compare this picture of the RL PSO-1 with the one currently ingame:

Isn't it possible to make the scope look more like this one?

The Iranians as MEC forces? Come-on guys don't start this discussion again. The MEC in game represent an Arab coalition while the Iranians are Persians. The MEC in-game speak Arabic and pretty much look like a stereotypical Arab, while the Iranians speak Farsi and don't quite look the same. Aside from the fact that the nation of Iran hasn't attacked anyone in thousands of years to assume it suddenly decided to start a major war with the West. Don’t make me have to go into to detail to explain why Iranians won’t fit with an Arab coalition.

Well, have anyone suggested something like that yet? Only thing is that they will be using an Iranian rifle.
