Mod team

Post by M_Striker »

I didn't know where to post this, but how do you become a part of the PR team. If You've got all the skills, do you just ask and start making stuff? Im sure this has been asked before, but i couldn't find the answer.

I'd start at the community mods. Many guys here are doing a lot of awesome stuff without being dev's, and i think thats a good way to get into BF2 modding.

The only thing i would consider doing is mapping...

also... you do need to prove yourself to apply then?

Well obviously they can't exactly just hand out DEV status.

We'll know when we see it, people of real talent and skill do first, ask later.

Yeah, start making a logical map and just keep at it. keep an updated thread, if you got the touch, or are a noob like me, you'll get picked up by the team.

either just start making a map which you think would be good or ask around in the community modding section if one of the mods needs a map, what kind of a map they are looking for etc. Then make it.

But I must warn you, I thinks bf2 editor is created by Satan himself. I quit making my map just because of bf2 editor. And no, it wasn't that hard to use, but it refused to work properly. :D (crashing etc)
