From another newbie! This game looks great and I am downloading it now. See you on the Battlefield soon!

I just have one question regarding the British Army Weaponry: Is there any intention of bringing in the GPMG (The L7A2)? I have never seen a game that has the GPMG in it and was a little disappointed to see the Minimi put in for the support role in this Mod. The British army uses the minimi in more specialised "roles" however the standard LMG issued to platoons is the GPMG. You see it everywhere in the British Army, on vehicles etc etc.

Why not in "Project Reality" ?

welcome. We do in fact have a GPMG ingame but its by far not one of our best models / textures (ie, its pretty crappy looking )

At the moment its only used on the 3rd seat of our land rover next to the driver:


We have no intention of having it as a hand held weapon any time soon as we would really need to make a whole new set of LMGs for all factions and then have two kinds of Auto Rifleman classes for each which would take a lot of work to consider

Welcome! I'm glad to see a new person joining PR! When you join a squad be sure to let the squad leader know you're new and hopefully he'll help you.

Other than reading the manual or watching tutorials on youtube it'll help to be able to ask questions directly.

Make sure you have a peek at that manual on ur desktop b4 you join a online game, there are several nuances that will annoy you and your team-mates if you are not aware of them, e.g. the kit request system
