Cuz it would be mighty usefull to use CPR to check if someones still alive...
You don't use CPR to check if someone is alive or not, unless they're faking it and you start pushing deep on their chest like that and they suddenly jump up hollering.
The real check during CPR is when you use a head tilt chin lift (Or jaw thrust if you suspect C-Spine injury..) and you check for Breathing (Lower hand, look at the person's chest. Look for rise and fall, breath on your ear, and sound) and a pulse at the artery in the neck.
Also, something I just found while flipping through my EMS Field Guide that I was given from a friend this morning, I found the doseages.
Epipen gives .3 - .5 mg.
1 mg is given when administered during CPR through IV.
