Sound issue!
Okay, for some reason when I enter any game, on any map, and the round starts, when someone starts shooting, even if they're on the other team, over 500 meters away, I can hear it distinctly, as if it were right next to me, if something blows up, I hear it, even if it's 800 meters away, I hear everything in the game from cars driving, to jdams exploding, no matter how far they are... Anyone know what the problem is?

A... Realtek HD Audio output according to DXDIAG.[R-DEV]Jaymz wrote:What kind of soundcard do you have?
A much better one on my other computer, but that's strictly for audio production.
I recently upgraded from vista to XP. Maybe I'm missing a driver? Nah, if I was, I wouldn't be able to hear anything, and 3d sound wouldn't work.

I assume you've tried the obvious. As in, switching between hardware and software in the audio settings, EAX on/off, driver update etcetc...

I've tried turning EAX, but stupidly didn't consider the hardware software stuff. I'm trying the driver update now.[R-DEV]Jaymz wrote:I assume you've tried the obvious. As in, switching between hardware and software in the audio settings, EAX on/off, driver update etcetc...

Re: Sound issue!
Okay, got it, fixed. I had to switch the audio renderer to Software. :/ Thanks Jaymze!
