Little detail needed to be change before 0.8.

Hi, i'm not here to bash or discredit the awesome dev work, but there some details in game that need to be changed...

1- Acog reticle, Marines are using TA31RCO Acog scopes, and they got this reticle :

2- Tank Gunner view, ingame, you aim on the left side of the cannon, but in real life, aiming optics are at the right upper corner.

3- 9MM pistol sound, it sound pretty weak to me, i shot 9mm once, and it was realy loud... something like this :

4- Combat helicopter gunner screen (i know you Dev dont care about it but it must be pointed out ) have to be change a little bit, just like this :

4.1- Add 3 stages zoom to gunner, like 5x,10x,50x, cause i saw many many many video where the gunner where having 3 zoom levels..

5- Give Special Force a helmet.

Smooth suggestions :) I liked all of them :P Specially the cockpit in the chopper :P With that zooming thing!

I thnik 50x zoom is a little overpowered but other thean that these should get implemented

Agreed,on MICH 2002 helmets..Desert maps get Tan ones,woodland maps get OD or black ones.

good suggestions.

ALSO,Hope the flag patch is fixed for release...Right shoulder!

The Current US Army models have the patch on the left shoulder, which is incorrect. The American flag is worn on the right shoulder.

@ OP,

ACOG reticle

The one you posted is the one in game, the only part of that picture that actually appears on a TA31 sight is the bullet drop compensator line (the man-size target and horizontal lines do not).

SF Helmets

EA models can't be edited.

9mm sounds

Might change for 0.8

The British soliders aren't EA models, they're completely custom jobs.

The stock EA models (USMC, MEC, Insurgent, Militia, etc) can only be re-skinned, and not altered themselves, it breaks BF2's EULA.

You can't rely on Youtube for accurate sound (or probably video, but I don't know too much about video tech), because of the compression that is used on the audio, plus it is put into very low quality in terms of Kbps, which means the frequency output isn't accurate (if I remember my Digital Audio Principles lessons at music college accurately). Plus there's the whole matter of acoustics to take into consideration, a simple example would be if you fired the M9 in the open, it wouldn't sound half as deep and powerful as if you fired it down a cave. [R-DEV]Jaymz is alot more knowledgeable about sound tech stuff then me, so he'd be able to give you a better explanation then mine.

*EDIT* Just noticed he's already been here...

Mostly good suggestions though, although in future separate them into different threads. The MOD and DEV team don't like combined suggestion threads from what I remember, as the discussions are regarding numerous topics, and are hard to keep productive.
