on jabal al burj, i was in a vodnik gunner seat with two other squad mates. we were driving from the dam towards the bridge, when ZOMG THERES AN APC ON THE BRIDGE STARING AT US!!!! it shoots at us, so we drive off the cliff and roll over about 5 times before stopping. luckily we all survived, and even more lucky is that the apc didnt chase us.

Ohh yes! But even worse is watching a ingame-video and hearing that sound! I always need about a minute to figure if that was my xfire or if it was part of the video... though i could easily see that there was no message window in the video... But i forget that

one time i was an insurgent on al balrash. I was standing in vcp and i see the merlin flying towards vcp then it got shot by an rpg and exploded. I was staring at it when i suddenly realized the corpse of the merlin was coming straight towards me, Then as it was about ten meters away it hit a light pole and i was saved

As a complete PR newbie I was shocked when the wall I was hiding behind at North Village (Kashan) - faithfully thinking I'd be safe - got blown up by a AT4. Leaving me in a state of near death I was like "Wtf did just happen?!"

I was on the Assault on Mestia map as the Militia Scout, running through the map to re-group with my squad. I had to run past a road to link up...when I heard an APC rolling close by. I spun around to see it coming down the hill at me! I ran and jumped into the nearest bush and sat there praying that it didn't see me....I was only half lucky. The APC hadn't seen me, but the squad being lifted around was getting off no more than 10 meters from my bush.

I sat in the bush with only my knife out (because my SKS barrel would stick out giving me away). The APC left soon after, but the squad hung around for a bit. I was so close I could clearly hear the squad leader using the "FOLLOW ME!" commo-rose as if I was part of the squad. I knew I couldn't take them all, and none of them had a blind spot (they were an effective squad, covering all angles)I knew i'd be spotted soon. I watched for 25 agonizing seconds as the squad stood there, probably planning their next move. Then, suddenly, the squad leader turned right at me and move to my bush, then at the last second moved to the next closest bush to the left and dropped his rally. Then they all ran off in a different direction, and this is when my heart started beating again.

So anyways this was my scariest moment. I'm sure you've all experience a moment like it, but it's the most nerve-wracking one I've had to date.

The other day i was on Jabal and i was sneaking around the city and i came upon a enemy firebase behind a building when i'm all alone and their was 5or6 enemys at it i peeked around the corner and saw them pile into the Humvee and a few minuites i c4ed it and i felt safe again.

My scariest moment i think was when me and my squad were swimming to the other side of the river on Qwai river map,and sudenly we saw enemy APC swimmin our way....we stopped and waited what will be next...and for BIG our surpries,the gunner looked at us for about 2 seconds and turned away....lol?how could he miss 5 man squad?this was scary at first but after then it was funny to remember this!

He comes into land and we look infront were hes about to land there were all screaming into our mics "shit hes about to land on the mine!" cuz some guy earlier had dropped it there and not marked it off. so were yelling at him to pull up but he doesnt listien and he landed on the mine. all the people in the heli punished him for some reason and he got kicked. that also lost the game for us.

In Firefight, A-10 flying over really low, sound on full, GAU-8 spinning is one hell of a recepy for a shitload of scare

I tought it was C-6 Zaterwetlands. i was reviving and healing my squad lads on the hill. when i hear on teamspeak that we are winning the counter attack. then sudddenly BOOOOOOOOOOMM!!! JDAM drops very very close to us. (sound on high)

Getting a Type 98 stuck in Qwai River ***-end up in a ditch directly in front of an enemy infantry formation. We had to dismount and wait for our unit's other tank to arrive while fending off enemy infantry for about five minutes. It finally did and manage to dislodge us by driving parallel into the ditch and pushing us free. We survived the whole round with the only casualties being the top-mounted engineers (victims of AH-6 strafing runs).

Well just today on TTP's server, we were on Kashan and I joined up late. So I noticed the only 2 bases we (U.S.) had were US main, and US Outpost, and I spawned at a firebase about 400 meters Northeast of US Outpost, and I saw a tank rolling up on a squads rally point taking the whole squad and the rally out. I hit Ctrl and saw that the A-10 just got off the ground so I started to run back to the FB so I could grab the Spec Ops kit and lase the tank, but on my way back I saw 2 more T-90's rolling on to the FB from the west, they didn't notice the FB yet so I got out the G.I.T.D and lased the second tank and watched the A-10 destroy the first, then second. The someone in my squad managed to grab a HAT and take out the first tank, that line of 3 tanks VS. a whole bunch of infantry wasn't the scariest, but it was damn fun lol.

I was in Al Basrah on a roof helping my squad spot insurgents when all of a sudden an RPG just flew past me about 6 inches away from my head. I saw the guy who did it so I put him down but it freaked me out.

lol that would be awesome! Never happened to me before. Would be cool seeing that rocket fly right by your noses!
