Well, Developers of Project Reality, I have a question of sorts that I'm hoping you won't shoot down, so here it goes -
I'm wondering if it would be ok with you guys if I (or someone else helping me) modified your MK12 SPR so that it didn't have a silencer.
I'm doing this because the community mod I'm working on needs an AR-10 type weapon for the Marksman kit. So, might we borrow your MK12 (unless the PR does are working on a SAMR for the USMC or something like that, which would work for the Marksman as well).

(Also, this is a maybe/possibly/not sure, but could I borrow your MH6 as well, I'd like to make a more Civilianized version (dark blue with white stripes instead of all black))

Dont quote me but i think if you are just doing a reskin on the MH6 then there is no reason to ask permission to use it but to modify there models you would have to ask. The only reason i can see that you wouldn't be aloud to use pr models without being a DEV is if the model is not in the current release. Anyway thats my 2 cents

as far as i know none of the little bird are any more from Dice there from USI if im not wrong, so reskinning for PR is always ok but using it OUTSIDE the mod would mean you need to be a member of BSS and or have premission from the devs :)

the littlebirds are form PR / USI (the armed and the not armed are from different teams, none of the US stuff is comming from the xpacks, only the MEC/China scout helos and cas planes are from armoured furry)

in armoured furry is actually not even a littlebird, but a MD-500 Defender (noteable by the edge in the frontwindow compared to the round littlebird/ah-6

Ok, so as long as I'm only using the reskin in PR (as part of a community mod) it's ok?
Also, I was told by Katarn to use the AR-15 model instead of the SPR, so I combined the two in 3ds Max9 (m16a4 body, SPR's scope). However, I'm a bit of a failure at modeling so I'd like someone to check my work. If someone could to the skins that would be quite nice as well (ie. combining the m16a4 and SPR to make a skin for the new gun).

Oh well, verdammen Maxfragg, I actually wanted a MD-500. Anyone?

yup *** long its for a faction for PR i dont see any problem but he im just a Con i think Rhino, UK-force or other reddish dev are a beter person to speak whit for the problems so PM them ;) but i think you can, but youre still having the prob that youre not a comm faction just a lone ranger that whants 1 to start try to make a planning schema reqruit and try to get it up and running before think on reskinning new models etc :)

We have a team of sorts. It's really just Tonnie making skins/models and me doing txt work and some skins. Then, we got Styker for a mapper today (I can map as well, just not doing it now).

EOD_Security-2252, I'm not exactly sure Katarn will be happy to see that you post .max files of his content on the open board.. if that is his work that is.

Even if its not I strongly suggest that you give it to only the ones that are supposed to work on it, not many artists are happy giving away their work to the public this way.
