probaly cos your running your map in PR and you aint got to the bit where you need to allow your map to work with pr. When doing the basic BF2 tuts you should be testing your map in BF2, and mapping in the bf2 mod also to keep things as simple and haste free as possible.

run your map in window mode then you can get a error about your prob, it may be cos your running in low gfx and you dont have a low detail texture which = crash.

TweakGuides.com - Battlefield 2 Tweak Guide

check the bottom, command line... you basically need to change your shortcut from fullscreen 1 to fullscreen 0

In the level editor, on the right hand side toolbar, scroll down until you see a bar that says "layers". Expand that and there should be a check box that says "Default". Make sure it is checked...

remember that you create your out of bounds areas, CP's and both object and player spawns on a separate layer.

make a new one called AAS_64 then start to place your Cp's

1. Right-click on the installer>select Properties from the dropdown menu.

2. A new window should appear, select the Compatibility tab to the right of the General tab.

3. In the Compatibility tab, click on the square option for 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:'

4. Click the OK button, and you should be good to go. Run the installer, it should work. It worked for me and many other Vista mappers.

5. Good luck and have fun. :) BTW, welcome to the forums.
