Nah. It's 3.5x zoom for the PU Scope, according to my source (pg21: http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/ ... /mosin.pdf).DavidP wrote:I thought it was 3.46x zoom, like in ww2.

hey just cause it's old doesnt mean it needs to be replaced, the Mosin Nagant has proven its worthiness in combat, it was the only rifle during that era that could fare against the Kar98 in accuracy. and besides the AK-47 was made just after the war and its still in use now, and very popular might i addgclark03 wrote:What I don't understand is why these arms dealers would only arm themselves with WWII-era weapons in an age where their clients would demand newer firearms.
Anyway, the Mosin is here to stay, and I agree that the scope needs to be changed, but the zoom factor level has to be realistic, not balanced. I assume that's why the Militia use the Mosin in the first place.

heck yeah! if i was a modern day sniper and i could get any rifle i wanted, it would be a mosin nagant, in my last post thats exactly what i meant, its a deadly accurate rifle. but definetly needs a scope change since i dont think it would be fair ingame without a scope. if anything i think the magnification can remain the same at 3.5x, it works fine for me just needs a new reticleNickO wrote:Ha! We dont need sights! In the Finland - Russia winter war the sniper with most confirmed kills in history used ironsights on his mosin![]()
