Milan 2 from USI
Title says it, I know that Milan has been suggested for Brits and might've been "passivly" suggested in non related threads(to many for me to look, just lazy I guess), but do to my dislike of the HJ-8 being used by the MEC, would it be possible to replace it with the Milan 2 model from U.S. Intervention? The HJ-8 can stay with the Chinese, but I'm just upset that Dice put it in vBF2 for MEC.

I'm assuming he's referring to a different form of an anti-vehicular TOW (Target on Wire) missle emplacement.
Take the Blue Pill or take the Red Pill?

in bad company, the MEC and russians both got the Kornet, so i guessed it would be the same for both of these games.

EA don't know what their on about, people like Bob Marley and Kenway will give you plenty of examples of this.
A different stationary AT would be cool though, that's if we're actually using it. Anyone else think it looks a little fragile and unsturdy with that scrawny tripod though?

HJ-8 is exported and license produced by Pakistan, but the MILAN family of missiles are more widely used in the region. I don't recall it having been suggested for factions other than the UK. Good idea.steve_06-07 wrote:Title says it, I know that Milan has been suggested for Brits and might've been "passivly" suggested in non related threads(to many for me to look, just lazy I guess), but do to my dislike of the HJ-8 being used by the MEC, would it be possible to replace it with the Milan 2 model from U.S. Intervention? All MILAN's are listed as man-portable, but they cannot be carried with a ready missile and fired from the shoulder. They have to be transported by a crew, then set up and loaded.ValerioZ.[ITA] wrote:The Italian Army have portable Milan.. :S

Depends on the type of Milan.

UK used Milan for Defence Positions, and currently do not use it anymore.

Oh, I didn't know the HJ-8 was made by Pakistan...I still stand by my suggestion though, and maybe farther down the road when I learn to model, I'll make a Milan 3 missile launcher.
Edit:
Eddie I sent you a PM.

Milan 2
Armed Forces - a5a14 - British Army - The Infantry - Milan 2
I do not think the British Army are going with this though, as trials where not as good as initially thought, compared to the NLAW

Re: Milan 2 from USI
So would this Missile be formidable to the TOW used by the Americans and HJ-8 by the Chinese(currently MEC) if it was the Milan 2T(Tandem Warhead(for ERA) with a shaped charge?

Re: Milan 2 from USI
The Milan 2 and 3 missiles are comparable in penetration to the HJ-8 and TOW2, but since they are smaller, they do not have the same explosive weight.steve_06-07 wrote:So would this Missile be formidable to the TOW used by the Americans and HJ-8 by the Chinese(currently MEC) if it was the Milan 2T(Tandem Warhead(for ERA) with a shaped charge?
