KASHAN - Hilltop bunkers!

ok well after playing Kashan a fare few times i began to think that id would be kool if there were bunker systems on or even in the hills where i have shown, i mean even if they are just dichtes or maybe some nice sandbag shelters built into the hill. and with the one closet to the MEC and closet to the USMC main i think there should be a vulcan cannon AA asset to take down aircraft, but position them so they can be fired on the villages or maybe they can be i dont know its not my decision. but protect them from APC / TANK fire with sandbags.

what do you guys think?

RED CIRCLE = POSSIBLE BUNKER LOCATIONS
ORANGE CIRCLE = POSSIBLE SPAWN LOCATIONS (destroyable rallies and only there are round begging possibly)
GREEN CIRCLE = AA LOCATIONS

Good idea. I always thought having many spawnpoints usually mess things
up when there's no teamwork , but seeing that each spawn is really
important to block enemy rushes or possibly even rush yourself , I agree.
Now to harass the DEVs to make the Kashan bunker doors open/closeable
from the panels (you still got the vent and top door to assault from)!
Update : Now you edited it , I'd say I would prefer the AA guns placed on
a spot where they can only act like AA guns , not like super machine guns.
Like in the midst of sandbag cover?

yeh thats what i meant not so they can be turned onto the vilages and p3wnd them apart with their fire. and also another worry for that would be squad leaders playing attackmakers 800meters away and them just blwoing stuff away that is miles away.

so yeh having them in a little ditch surrounded by sandbags would be awsome to stop them from getting owned by tanks and APC's but letting them take down some troubleing aircraft.

and the bunkers would provide cover for infantry trying to assult the south village rather than hovering above the mid air becasue of the shotty BF2 graphics engine.

i agree with it.

The only thing i wont see is the AA Guns.

Its hard enough with jets, aav and so on to fly a chopper or jet...

Give the inf cover, but not a spawnable frontline with big guns...

yeh a beggining of the round spawn ONLY and on the bottome one instead of AA maybe only put the AA on the two bunkers CLOSEST to their respective main bases. but on the bottom one place some artillery like in the fools road map so that they can cover that big pf the map from tanks.

Some of this just strikes me as people who are getting constantly owned. If you are infantry, you are relying on tank/air support. Tank coming? You can´t have an AT gun everywhere, you need to call in air support or have a friendly tank operating near you. Thats team teamwork.

And you want the devs to remove the AA guns when you start complaining about being shot every time you enter a village? No offense, but sometimes I think you guys just read and thinks "omg I can kill lots of enemies now" do you ever think the other way around?

I think that was a typo. He clearly stated his intentions a couple posts above yours.

I like the idea, just not the one with the AA asset planted by Rambo in his newest movie.
No offense intented. I've had a rough day, but I play the game as well, and I don't like suggestions about being able to kill more, easier. Maybe I missunderstood somewhere. But still.

I would just like Project Reality games to have more freaking DOORS... like..... ones that all mecs can use, but the US or BRITS have to use door breachers or something XD


(like... on maps like Muttrah..... but with doors ^_^)

This would possibly give kasahn more room for INF to do there thing...as of right now INF cant do much but stay in the bunker complex's while the enemy armor is out and about. If this was added it would give infantry another goal, to seize enemy bunkers on hills and build assets there.

i think team work is really great thats what makes project reality so good like this one time i was running through the froest on fools road and my squad leader who i was following said that that was an armoured vehicle on the hill across from us over looking the road. so the squad leader set up a rally point and i got light antitank and was about to shoot it but then cause i didnt have much experience with anti tank at the time my squad leader said that you had to aim above the thing that you wanted to hit. so i did and i ended up killing the armoured vehicle. and thats why team work is good. then when i was sitting in a chopper on kashan the pilot asked everyone where they wanted to go and when someone said "as close to south bunker as you can get me" the pilot immediately took off and landed squarely IN the bunker and safely left our squad to defend the flag. and thats why i like teamwork

i also think that it would allow for more infantry objectives and would make it much more inviting for teamwork because the infantry squads would need to cooperate to capture the flags there.

out of context go read the whole thing before you start judging what i say. i said "place them in sandbags or ditches so they can't fire on the vilages and then are also protected from APCs / TANK fire"

dont be a knob and read the whole thing FIRST!
