I'm not a fan of the idea, due current era some people could take offense to them being ingame. There the same thing as a mix of Insrgents and Militia.

The idea of offending anyone has been discussed with in the team. The overall opinion is we dont care. Any other faction could be "offensive".


But instead of "Taliban Rebel" how about just "Taliban"

I was wondering if Taliban faction were being worked on. I might be able to scramble up some textures (using current uniform texs as a template) given some high res photos of their RL garb. Don't know if you can use existing character models or you need to do new ones to depict robes etc. Sorry I can't model.

Textures have already been done, its just that to make them look really authentic, we need new kit geometries.

WTB map with these guys vs Russia.
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

Cool! I hope the problem gets worked out ASAP. Archer and any other Afgan (or any) map really need the proper faction to maximize the authentic experience. Good job.
