Korengal. With 3D irons on the shotgun, so you know where you are aiming.

Depends on how much I told you, to be honest. You could steal a glance, but don't count on having a foot to stand on.

(Bases typed in Red)
Well... my favorite map would be a balanced map with airstrips on opposite sides of the map in elevated positions (where a bomber [A-10, Eurofighter with bombs, J-10, or Frogfoot etc.], Fighter [Mig-29, J-10, F-16, Eurofighter etc.], 4 Main Battle Tanks, 2 AA Vehicles, 2 APCs and a Transport Chopper would spawn.) and large, intricate, and destructable complexes at the same elevation next to the dropoff into a lush low hilly area with lots of scattered tree formations, scattered rocks, and a small village built on the side of a hill with jeep spawnpoints and destructable/ enterable buildings. There would be a underground bunker dug into a hill at the edge of the valley with an AA gun on the top of the hill. In the bunker, 1 AA, 1 APC, and 1 Jeep/ Truck would spawn. There would be a small hole to crawl through in the rock wall of the bunker that opens up under the hill into a large dome-ish room thing ( :-) ) that is the beginning of a much smaller but still walkable tunnel that has a rope bridge over a underground river and loops around the map and exits in a tight hole on the side of the valley adjacent to the entrance of the bunker but at a noticably higher elevation next to an small outpost overlooking the valley (:camper :) . There could even be a winding road that follows the curve of the land and eventually leads to the outpost It is very complex but adds up to a very large, fun, and Balanced firefight! :firing:

Personally, I want an Insurgency map with some open field, but the majority of the map taken up by a city with some suburbs and some dense city blocks. There would be river crossings and heavilly defended bridges on the outskirts and inside the city there would be many anti infantry emplacements and fortified positions, forcing the US or Brits to maneuver their armor(and maybe airpower) into the city and make combined arms assaults on the caches.
Yeah, a nice HUGE, varied city, tight alley ways, decent amount of well placed enterables, Insurgency map. Make a great demand for work between light armor/air and infantry in searching for caches, fighting off swarming insurgents. And yet, a nice area of fields and rivers to sort of break it up. I could go for that.

Also, a map reminiscent of ArmA's Sarhani or OFP's Everon would be a pretty solid idea. Sprawling forests with some tall rolling hills, small villages in between all connected by roads. Farmlands, etc. Basically a grassy version of Kashan with forests and valleys to help Infantry have a bit more fun :P

Good thread idea :)

this

ive always wanted a true beach assault map for the USMC. i think barracuda may satisfy me. i just wish the USMC had either a AAAV7 or a EFV to launch from the carrier, and sea knights. and for a setting i would really like it to be taiwan, i think its the most realistic. i always thought it was weird the USMC was invading mainland china, it seems pretty suicidal.

Realistic rural terrain and natural land formations. The only maps that come close this are Al Basrah and, sadly, Daquing Oilfields. Daquing Oilfields would be a great map if it was bigger to accommodate the big Oil Facility. Sangin is the supposed next in line and I cant wait.

Seige based game. A well defended strongpoint held by coalition forces. Surrounded by opposition troops on all sides. Make the insurgent bases far enough away to allow a few minutes at the beginning of the game for the coalition to prepare defences. Similar to the Battle of CIMIC House in Al Amarah (could be based on such a battle). However, it would be incredibley hard to balance such a map and I'm sure there will be those of you who think that it isn't "PR Material".

A map in Europe or America, would be cool to see a massive insurgent strike on western soil.
