Server List Error

I downloaded latest version from this website last night, and I installed. Starts up fine, but when I search for servers it shows every server in red text, and when I try to join a server says that I do not have the maps? Surely the maps would come with the huge 1 gb download!?

nope, due to the huge size of the mod we needed to split the main files and maps up.

look near the bottom of there and you will see "Client (Levels)", you need to download and install that too

You got to be joking, left my PC running all night and this morning to wake up and install and play the game.

Oh well, will have to wait a few more hours

It will be worth it While you're downloading, you can read a bit in the manual, lots of stuff changed from the earlier versions till now.

As a side note for the next Build of PR. Make the downloads in one part only if you can. If you must continue to split the levels from the core, Then at lest make the Torrent download contain both files. It's not hard and saves extra messing about. Or maybe make a new downloader system so that all fires are downloaded at together.

The bigger the file, the more likely it is to corrupt during download... in addition, some people don't have time/possibilities to download a huge file like that at once..

Not that hard to download CORE and LEVELS when it's explained everywhere.

When I say make a new downloader system. I mean one that downloads the game files themselves. Not the Game installers (CoreInstaller.exe - LevelsInstaller.exe). The Downloader it self is the installer. I Think what I mean is a "Live downloader installer system" I Will do some research on this. And get back to you.

If I remember correctly, its also because the installer can´t be made with over 2 GB?

I still haven't downloaded the Map Pack, since when I download, I get a download speed of only 9 kb/s from all server! >:[

Always thought the developers of PR were from Uk for some reason and thought there would be Uk server to download from.

The DEV are from all over. I'm thinking you just have a crappy connection
