A few things I believe would add to this game.

First of all, not all Arab fighters have the luxury of wearing a military uniform. A lot of them are in street clothes which would be a really neat thing to see in a game based on realism.

Day / Night cycles? Oh that would be grand. Not just Night maps or Day maps but how about setting the time to start the battle when setting up the game and then letting time.....well....actually pass?

Supply Delivery / Drops

More Destructive Enviroment: Brick walls won't stop my tank shell from leaving it's destructive legacy. Possibly collapsable buildings after taking too much damage?

Someone posted about not always having aircraft explode in mid air but damaged so they cannot control them very well and have to make a crash landing. Very cool idea!

Destroyed vehical after effects such as ammo exploding inside and the vehical remain ablaze for a longer perieod of time creating a realisitic amount of thick black smoke.

Night vision equipment.

Please take into consideration us single players out there and please allow the maps that you make to support bots. We need luv too ya know.

Very realisitic explosion sounds such as echo effects off surrounding mountains for instance.

Chatter from our troops on the field. Random but legitimate chatter. Examples: Encouragement, Orders, supply problems, Other grumblings that relate to military situations.

I want to take the time to thank the folks that are going to put this mod together and say that as I realize a lot of this probably should be done by our friends who are making the game itself, I hope you take my suggestions into consideration.

As you said, alot "should" be done by DICE and Trauma, but we will strive to make this as real as physically possible. Nice suggestions btw.

Yea great ideas. I Like them all.
I have an idea too. The idea is to have a Nuclear bomb. The nuclear bomb could be used only once. It will be in 1 or 2 maps only. It will Wipe out Half of the map. and when the Nuclear missale is launched both teams get a warning "RED ALLERT"

Another Great Idea is to have this monter. amazing plane. "B-52 Stratofortress"
This Great amazing plane has around 50 bombs and they are deadly.

The problem with this plane is the size, i am pretty sure that it wont be able to put it in the bf2 standard maps. This is also the reason wy Desertcombat didnt included them.

The only reason DC did not include it is because bf1942 maps are shit and small. the second reason is because the bf1942 engine is not good enough for big things like planes.

In bf2 the maps are going to be 4x bigger than bf1942 maps. That is why they are including 100 players. The bf2 engine is good.

Oh and Some maps will be City fights, and others will be desert fights. The city maps will be small. But the desert maps are going to be huge.

I really like the Sounds idea, and the echo of guns rattleing in the background. Hopefully Dice and truama put this in, but dont you think u would want to put in your own sounds? :P wold be nice to seperate yourself from the BF:2 theme thingy kinda, but that could be done in a later release... step by step.

It still need the hole length of the map to take off, you dont have to think that the airplanes take off after 10 meters like dc :wink:

Like almost all of your suggestions. However* night and day cycle wouldnt be realistic, I doubt any battles are going to last 24 hours and it wouldnt be right to change from day to night and back again over the period of 20-60 minutes.
Anialator(sorry for spelling) B52's are about the size of your average BF main base, the idea of flying one around in a map no more than a mile or 2 across is rediculous. Same thing with nukes, they would destroy the entire map(assuming you go with a raelistic nuke) and if your talking tactical nuclear weapons(those mini nuke bombs and arty shells) well then whats the point? Conventional weapons are just as effective.
