In our battle against CATA1 on kufra my squad were tasked with taking oil production(the east flag) We got there late, so we rushed in there. Once we got to the gate of the base we got slaughetered, by C4 and bullets. It were our orders to take the flag, but I realised it was futile so I stayed back. But my squadmates keept going and keept dying. Who do you think have the best k/d ratio? Me or my squadmates?

Why would you need the M113? Can't you just use the CV90?halvor1 wrote:UPDATE we have now received a permission to use EOD's M113 which will soon be reskinned into its fitting colorStay tuned!

I have no qualifications, but would it fit? Do you really see M113s in Afghanistan?
Even if they would put that vehicle to use in warfare, i assume it would be an upgraded version.
Maybe put someone else on the CV90 if the current modeller is showing slow progress?

-Norwegian M113's were upgraded for use in Afghanistan in 2007(Egine, modern electronics, etc). These are the versions used by Norway.

I don't really get the point in showing Danish M113's.Tartantyco wrote:

Norway has no M113's in Afghanistan, at least not to my knowledge. Anyone clarify?

I found this sentence quite funny and since this is a war game forum I will put it here. No offense to the french just a good laugh.

Re: [Proposal] Norwegian Forces
by the looks of it the UV on that 416 isnt 100% done.
Front grip almost dosnt look UV'ed, same goes for the EOTECH.
barrels seem is on the players side (better rotate it away from the player or it could get messy)
tip of the barrel needs a smoothgroup.
A few minor problems with the handguard being a bit streched (notice the elongated squares).
Lastly - everything needs to be sized up. By the looks of it now the magazine, buttstock rails and barrel will dominate the texture sheet.
EDIT: to avoid another post I'll just write it here..
that AG3 looks pretty good but the seem on the frontgrip is very noticable for the player (look at the picture in the next post). That somehow needs to be rotated around. Apart from that it looks really good, but I'd recommend that someone takes a good look at finishing the smoothgrouping on it..

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
HangMan: BF2 Editor, it has very strict limitations memory wise, and crashes all the time. Its like a girl. Treat it with respect and take it slow and you'll get places. Rush and get ahead of yourself and it will turn around and punch you in the mouth

Z is definitely one of the best community modders around, as he has proved yet again.
Tonnie, you might want to reduce the scratching slightly. Right now it looks as if it's been mis-treated on purpose and the owner hasn't bothered applying new camo after rubbing it with steel wool.
No offense.
I really liked the previous version, but it needed just a little bit of scratching.

More guns and bullets make bad guys go away faster,
which in turn makes everyone in the area safer.

any chances of the models done so far being summarized in the first post in this tread (just to see what's done and if something needs doing) plus we can admire all the work instead of looking through 26 pages looking for it.
