Pings for Pr servers

how come after patch 1.22 most servers that before had like 60 ping for me are now pinging at 125 something anyone have any ideas.

Are you sure it's the patch and not your connection? If you want to see where the problem could be, use a tool such as pingplotter..

Its probably the patch, I know I had pings of 600ms because of the 1.21 patch, I had to reinstall the game to fix it.

Yes I agree, though there might be some new regulars on there that have higher pings naturally that would make your ping become higher. But I too have this issue.

how manny times do i have to exsplain this? BF2 is not Quake 1 or 2. Ping dose not effect your gameplay untill you go over 300ping. a ping of 120 is fine. I allways play with a 120ping and you will normaly find me in the top 3 of the server.

i dont think the number is that high, ive had pings of 200 and its effected me.

It was more than likly server lag, server being overloaded and effecting all of you.

if u have a well run server, you can go upto 300ping before you get lag.

There is a difference btwn 60 and 160 ping as far as lag, its not that bad but it is noticable.
