Its unfair. I have played many hours with 30-40 fps and a lot with 90+ fps....
Suppresion is way too much at low fps, but feels pretty nice at high fps. (enough to screw your aim, but you can still punish any mistakes from the enemy)

Low graphic may see better in dark, but I can counter that with a little more brightness.

EDIT : MEANING you can turn up your brightness on your monitor people

Ok guys, i tested this, and lower setting players have a better advantage, mainly because of the maps being lighter and them being able to see better because the grass and entitys like that stop out of view quite early, also they have less supression time because for some reson it runs on FPS, not time. (Please put it to time DEV's :D ) This may not sound like much but think of all the other advantages, like.....
Faster loading
urm...
ok, i cba to go on because i just woke up -.-

To me, the two most important thing is to have good FPS (70-80 or higher) and maximum range vision.

I think max shaders should be forced since this is realism, Ify ou cant max it then you need to get an upgraded gpu. A gpu to max pr Is only $50

To be honest, i really wasn't thinking that people with high rig computers would play the game with graphics low. I thinks it's the waste of your computer and waste of your talent (which doesn't seem to have with these people). Why bother to look shitty graphics to get less supression or etc.

I have a shitty computer and I'm playing everything low except geometries medium. I got that medium when I got more ram. My supression effect is huge. thou it gives me more time to think what the hell to do to not get killed  (I know this ain't the point but just mentioned it).

I just cant wait to get my new graphic card which is on the way. wi-piii!! for that. As soon as I get it I definetly turn everything up what I can.

Like I say I don't understand people who use things like this to get the advantage, for the same reason I don't understand people who use aim bots etc. to cheat.... Why in the first place even play the game if you need to cheat. (It's more easier to go and beat a little kid to feel more superiority.) Also by cheating you'll never get any better (maybe you cheaters should think about that. comes handy with everything else in your life).

I think these people who use this unfair advantage tactics propably compress they mp3 files into lower than 98kps to save some hard disk space and then they can listen that glorious up high noise dingling... for god's sake..

I personally like my game, music, movies and life quality high. Even thou it doesn't give me any advantage at all.
I love this game and just can't wait to play it with better graphics. (cause I've have seen the game with best graphics and I'm crying my self to sleep after I've played cause of my poor quality.) Maybe I then get to come even more better player.
I think that in the end the best sessions on PR is dependent on good teamplay.

Hope they still don't force those option to be on up-high unless they have a way to see if people have that needed rig on computer but doesn't use it.

Lol, that's almost impossible. And different people like different things. FORCING anything in a game is not the way to go IMO. ;-)

I try to run the graphics as high as i can with my computer. Which is high in some aspects, medium in most. Nothing on low except AA, which is off.

I would never set my screen brightness higher or the graphics lower just so i can get an unfair advantage. I want a realistic game, and realistic graphics are a part of that. With grapic settings on a relative high level, i play the game as its supposed to be played, even if the fps drops a bit.

I also believe too much good graphics may cause problem.

Look at Crysis, its graphism are so good, you can't see **** in vegetation or a far because of lights, etc.

LOL skodz, where talking about a 5 year old engine. Not something that requires a huge upgrade.

Sorry but that is the best yet. Somebody is complaining about the game looking to real. WAKE UP CALL. It's meant to look like reality.

Even if I would be able to see enemys easier on low settings I would still play on high. It just make the game so much better.

im not bragging, but i run fools road on high without lagg, the thing that laggs me is Al basrah, and that because it had static objects, i dont have a 1337 pc

1GB ram
Nvidia NX8800GT
Dual core
3 Ghz

not much, and i lagg still, and if you wanna keep your speed up with the new maps, and not take an age loading, you might have to lower your settings.

P.S.

I play crysis on very high with NO lagg.
so dont say its my PC, its the static stoofs

I see why you LAG. Its not the server or the game. Its the amount of RAM you have. You only have 1Gig. BF2 Needs 2Gigz no matter what settings you have.
