Jungle Combat
Im just an average infantrymen, Overall im good with any optics weapon, grenade launchers and LMGs. I do very well on city levels like Sunset city and EJOD, where i go on huge kill sprees with any wep I have. (until APC, =[ ) However, whenver im on forest levels im a pile of ****. Im usually on the recieving end of fire, Im almost always found first, and if I do engage they always do some sort of lighting U-turn dive and shoot me in the head through thick grass and Im all "WTFOMGZHEADSHOTHOWTHEFUCKISHOT1ST!"
There was one occasion where i killed a brit with an AK proned on fools road, then his squad mates just ran on top of me and I shot em, (4 kills + RP =D) But apart from that Im rubbish in forests, any advice for me when im trundeling along with my AK?
*BTW my main mode of attack is full auto from point blank in the back, proned. its getting there that sucks, and if i use single they do the WTF turn, or the squad just finds me!

In a squad...
Make a line, dont sprint.
Then you have the first shoot, and will be suppressed last.
Also, you can just hide (Camp

It's really just your personality type and personal preference that plays into it. Some people prefer forests and rural area, some people prefer urban combat and others before playing in a grass field.

Be vigilant, look for any abnomolies from the normal terrain(familiarize yourself first), if you are fortunate enough to hear a firefight in the distance, try to get an estimate on where it's coming from(check friendly squad positions) Try to go around to the back by attempting to be as stealthy as you can. If you get fired upon or hear a shot from a close distance, go for the nearest tree or hide in the grass. Best of luck.

I created a short guide on this type of combat about a month ago, maybe it can help you.

Re: Jungle Combat
If you know where they are- Get in a position you can shoot them from concealment
If you don't know where they are but they are firing at you and you know the direction, go prone while firing a clip, and throw a frag, if you are lucky you now have enough time to get to better cover.
Forest fighting is all about not bunching up, using avaliable concealment and cover and above all; telling your squadmates where the fire is coming from.

uve got to take your time in maps like ghost train. Crouching all the time takes forever, but as soon as you are in a hot area you need to get down and into cover, eventually your crosshair will come across a head to be popped before he realizes what happened.

Re: Jungle Combat
lol im just the opposite. but what you want to do is stay off the roads and stay in the areas that are forested. also, stay away from the tops of hills and other ridgelines. move where the land is lowest. i sneak up on squads all the time like that. and yes, full auto is essential.TheGoldenElite wrote:Im just an average infantrymen, Overall im good with any optics weapon, grenade launchers and LMGs. HIDE IN THE BUSHES
seriously, ive had entire squads walk past me because i hid inside a bush on ghost train, they are the perfect concealment allowing you to see and shoot without being seen yourself. however it is advisable to move between different bushes once the action starts to heat up.

Stay close to your squad. If you're allowed, defend instead of attacking.
