Why does the British "standard" jeep only have three seats? I know there is a 6 seat jeep, why isn't it used instead?

Are they working on texturing it for the desert theme?

No, there is no 6 person landy made. The landy is only 3 seats for the 2 mgs on it and the rest, I really don't think anyone knows.

the 6 seater, the saxon is being disbanded IRL, other armoured vehicles such as the bulldog are not made yet, teh rover is a firesupport vehicle that doubles as a recee vehicle.

IRL the british army is using the mastiff and ridgeback as 4x4 troop transports afaik, and bulldogs and warriors as the armoured transports

land rovers have always had 3 guys in them afaik, the saxon was the old 6 seater british vehicle, but as I said, they are being disbanded IRL, thus were taken out of the mod and british teams need to adapt by getting the warriors to stick with the infantry, as they should IRL

I actually prefer the British Landie to the Humvee, it's smaller, better armed and gives you an excuse to take two out of main giving you an advantage in firepower and mobility.

It is kind of annoying that the LR only has 3 seats (causing full squads to need 2 of them), but on the other hand, Tirak's got a point. The LR is practically a hih-speed fortress with all the guns on it, compared to the HMMWV which only has 1 weapon. Both vehicles have their advantages.

well in irl the WMIKS are quite big have strethes in the bk etc could hold more guys. but are like the man said. A FSV. and has 3 seats.

We were advised by our UK active duty servicemen on the team that because of the ammunition and equipment load carried that the normal crew for a WMIK Wolf is 3 men (driver and gunners).

A little part of me dies inside everytime i hear someone call the landy a jeep...........

I Digress, as Eddie has said normally you only have 3 people in a WMIK (the landy in PR) because that version of the landy is used as fire support rather than a transport. You can fit more guys in and around them yes but it very much a case of cramming around the gunners feet and its not really suited to pr's gameplay.
