Well first of all hi to you all, I've been reading and this mod looks cool. I just have a few questions about it.

1) Will I be required to create a new player name not use my BF2 player name? If you know what I mean.

2) Are there still people screwing around like in BF2 and being rambos, bunny hopping, not being team players etc?

3) I would most likely be a pilot or sniper in games, does it take a while to get into one of these if there are many other players in the game? I understand there is one sniper per team. How long must I wait?

And last) How do you guys find it. Is it fun?

Ok, but how do I join in on the servers, when I log in it looks like the normal BF2.

1) No, you can use your old name.

2) From time to time you will find them, now more than ever with the upcoming release but on the whole there are very few smacktards.

3) Both the sniper and pilot role are the most skill demanding roles in this game. There are actually 2 snipers per team AFAIK but i may be wrong. In any case when all the sniper kits are being used by your team(all 1 or 2 of them) you cant request one until they die and lose the kit. Although sometime the enemy will pick up the sniper kit and then you still cant use it, so DONT LOSE THE SNIPER KIT!! As for the pilot kit, there are only so many planes(1 or 2) on maps that have planes(only a hand full do) and a few more helos so only request the pilot kit as soon as you are about to fly. Dont be one of those guys who camps the spawn for 20 minutes only to crash on take off.

And last) Oh you just wait and see

1. no, you can use your normal account. PR installs along side your BF2 and all you get is a new icon on your desktop, click it and you will load up PR, click the BF2 one and you will load up BF2. simple

2. you dont see much screwing about tbh, you hardly ever see any one bunny hop cos it is simply not a effective tactic in PR.

3. well, 2 snipers per a 32 man team, you really just need to wait till its available.

and ye, if you like realistic combat and team play etc, you will most likly enjoy PR

Well my name says UKpilot in game, but I kinda lost intrest. I now like to snipe. I think I have the skill. I know the tatics of a sniper very well. And how to be one.

And im really excited lol. Plz tell me how to join.

Edit: And I love teamplay! Just wish there was more in other games.

1) Nope, but if you want to go ahead
2) You'll have the occasional non teamplayer, but they are definately in the minority and usually don't have high scores. Bunny hoppers try to bunnyhop and just notice they can't hit shit and usually get killed pretty quickly
3) Yes especially pilot takes quite a while to really get good at, sniper also takes some time - you might wanna try DMR(designated marksman) first. There are 2 sniper kits available on a full server.

And yes it's one hell of a fun time once you got used to it and know how everything works Just take your time, join a squad with teamworkers and see yourself

2) Being rambo is not much possible, you get killed very very very soon. Also you cant bunny hop like you could in BF2, stamina gets very low quickly with hopping.
Mostly there is teamplay, but dont hesitate if your first play experience is bad, just find another server. But noobs get tired quickly because its too hard

3) Being first time pilot is NOT EASY! If you come from BF2, seriously expect to find handling very difficult, i have played about a year soon and im comfortable with planes, but helicopters i think are bit more difficult. Anyways, for new player, i think you need to practise first.

Being Sniper also isnt so easy as in BF2.

4) If i play battlefield, i always play this mod, its so cool, realistic, you really dont wanna die. I LOVE it, makes your kits and life precious!

Did you download and install both files completely? If so then pop in the normal BF2 disk and click on the PR icon. Log in at the log in screen using w.e name you want then find a room. Make sure to check your filters. Turn ranked off and click on same mod. Unclick infantry only and all that ****.

to answer your questions quick

1.you can use you "old" bf2 account, but you can of course create as many new accounts as you wish to

2. there are hardly any rambos but there are of course still some unforunately.but being a rambo wont use them much cause it is actually impossible to succeed in anything withouth teamwork in PR

3. there are 2 sniper kits available for each team and indefinite pilot kits.waiting time depends on how many kits are currently used by others.
but i suggest not to take the kits YOU like at every possibility but rather take the kits which are best for the current situation and for use for your squad/team or otherwise YOU are gonna be seen like a rambo.

Yes, yes you have

The patch is only for people who had .7(this is version .75), since you are downloading for the first time you need to download the full file which is broken into to two pieces, core and levels.

EDIT: Oh and you might as well remove the patch you downloaded completely.
