[Map] Northern Iraq [scrapped]

I would like to give the community some infomation on my map. I have no screens at the moment due to just setting up the mountians and texture now .

Teams:US Army(Placeholder for Turkey) vs INS


The map is about the Turkish Army defending there border from INS forces.

Possible Briefing:After several attacks on Turkish soil, the Turkish Goverment has asked for all troops to be stationed on there borders of Northern Iraq.


Pictures will be coming later today or tommorow. Post any ideas before its too late.


Map Plan:

1)Set basic ground heights and textures.
2)Set Undergrowth
3)Set trees and rock Faces
4)Fix time. (if needed)
5)Set Control Points Areas (Rough Area for the 5 capable and 2 un-capable.)
6)Set rough roadways
7)Set Towns in the Fields
8 )Set Control Points
More will come.

PR is moving to bigger maps, so if this map has anychance in ever getting ingame you need to make it like 1024x4 or 1024x2 at least.

Once I get the mountians and stuff done ill post them. Dont worry, they should be up in less then a week. If you want I can post squad tiles and a flat map.

about 2%, i just started mapping it today. I have been doing alot of thinking about it and made my plan out in my head, right now did some mountians now trying to figure out ground color for the desert and mountians.

This is the 1st layer of my ground, it will be the covering for most of the desert. Need to find Tpaint before I really go any farther.

never said i'm going to stop. i was just saying my map is so early it could change in the future. I'm trying every program i can to see which one makes the best looking map. Cant wait to add my mountian roads and see people fall off.

Ly Soucy i was thinking of a north iraq map for Turkey can we cooperate please Turkish Army vs Terrorists (Insurgents) it would just fit considerating Turkeys Assaults to stop the terrorism at north iraq..
