you can change in the options so it talks to you in english

that detracts from the realism more than small text messages...

So the voices would play "In Game?" I like, I realy Like.

Of Course My wife would have a fit.

ME: "GET THAT SNIPER OFF THE GOD DAMN ROOF!!!!"
WIFE: "If you wake me up one more time I'll SNIPE YOU OFF THE ROOF!!!"

i think this post is a great idea.

a note of the removal of the small HUD map. that's a good idea. but maybe have it reappear for short periods of time when a squad leader gives orders. ie - attack hotel, and the HUD map comes up to show the attack position on hotel.

that would promote teamplay and make orders clearer to follow.

yes, the above idea is great. make the minimap like the sprint meter, it shows up when new orders/spotted things happen. then fades out. would make you make you pay much more attention when orders are issued.
