Any feedback/thoughts yet?

Do note that until I install 0.8 and create a new 0.8 pr_edit, I can't work on the map.

Also any R-Staff finding interest in here? :( ;)

How does two main bases and a checkpoint/FOB qualify as 'too many military bases'...
Perhaps it could feature in the map description in some way?
Map descriptions got removed I think, since they're not on the map loading screens anymore.

Two are large bases to operate from, too.
Well I removed the US base and turned it into a roadside camp like on Kufrah.

Also Jonny, I did research on this a long time ago and the entire area in Yibal is either plain desert or petrochemical facilities, since it's an oilfield.
There's not going to be any cities or villages or any sort of housing added, because no one lives there, it's uninhabitable desert.
Palms trees also grow in the Sahara off the small oasis's with water and you don't see people building a neighborhood on them.

A small part of the region is populated, but that's near the mountains and nowhere near any oilfields.

Also, if someone wanted to capture the oilfield, wouldn't the defending army set up bases all over to defend it?

Well, US base is gone now as I said, I shrunk the Warehouse and removed the containers but I'm keeping the FOB, because I want the gameplay to be centered around it, once Refinery/East Storage are captured, it's pretty much over.

I could add the oasis around the FOB and you could say, that the FOB was built there to protect the only source of water in the area..?
And an oasis could sort of help in defense of the FOB since trees would block the view.

In other changes USMC has been replaced with US Army and LAV25s replaced with Bradleys
