Watched again, still impressed. I'll directly compare it to the 0.5 one later, but 0.8 trailer could be better.

EDIT: Second view, love the dust effect on the heli's Alex, it turned out real good :D

It's gotta' be the music. The music from this trailer just reminds me of Lord of the Rings or Batman: The Dark Knight (overrated), but whilst it was good back then and more suitable for the likes of LOTR, it's just becoming irritating and repetitive now. It's that kind of music that gave birth to the trendy use of the word "epic" :razz:

Edit: I thought support weapons were supposed to be inaccurate when not in prone position yet I see someone firing it whilst crouched at 4:20, hmm.

Looks great, but IMO it doesnt reach up to the infamous 0.5 trailer ;)

The trailer was good as it should be. The 0.5 trailer was just really epic and it would be hard to come near it. But good job!

Suppresive fire don't ask a lot of accuracy, and you should still be able to hit something as long as you control your gun a little (shoot in bursts, ect).


The trailer look really good ! :D

Awesome trailer! Good job.
Especially love the medic revive part :mrgreen:
Oh, and the voiced are great.

And now a little criticism if you don't mind.
In the trailer shown a lot of cool staff maps, vehicles, factions etc.
But all this thigs are secondary IMO. The main part is teamwork and realism (again IMO). And this wasn't shown almost at all.
So to me the best PR trailer will be 0.2 where the main reality and teamwork.

P.S.
Now I dont want you to think that I dont like the trailer. It is not true.
It's awesome!

I just saw that for a second time, with virtual headphones hooked up. The bullets were flying behind me, explosions, shouts, epic! :)

Now I'm going to try it with a different pitch. :p Realtek sound drivers FTW.

Then again, I thought the suppression effects were toned down for 0.8 and only worked when shooting quite close to them but in the video the player's attempting to shoot quite a distance.
