Make a patch now for the resolution issue, not later!
I can't run PR at all above 800x600... Anyone who agrees with me on this, post here! We want the devs to make a patch now, not later! It's unfair to a lot of us who don't have high grade computers! Who's with me on this?

No one can. No one can run below 1280x800. It's bullcrap. They need to fix this now, or it's gonna lead to a community outrage I presume.XxRAVENHOLMxX wrote:You cant run above 800x600?
I crash to desktop when I run at 800x600. There's even a thread saying they'll fix it in the next patch, but that's gonna be 2 years from now. :/

Well, the BF2 engine isnt very demanding, all PCs built in the last 3 or so years should be able to run BF2 on High (unless you got it from somewhere dodgy).
I run on 1680x1059, its all gravy.
But for now just hold out, i'm sure a hotfix of some sort is on the way.

calm down and be patient, the DEVs already know the situation and rest assured it will be fixed.
In my opinion, (note: my opinion) it's too much to ask for a patch right now. Fixes need time and testing, Dev's can't magically pull patches and hi-grade work from thin air, it takes ALOT more than that. I've witnessed it personally. The it's almost an understatement even to say the DEVs have spent tremendous time and effort on this MOD so cut them some slack.
My advice to the PR fans with computers that have trouble running PR above 800X600 is to turn everything down to low, turn off all excess background processes (explore.exe... ccApp.exe if your using Norton...etc.) and allocate as much memory as possible to PR.
