Crash related to nvida "helper program"

Got a crash and a complaint from my firewall that some "n*something*.exe" was trying to reach the Internet(i right clicked and read the description, "nvidia helper program" it was located inside system32).

I try to load the map again, crash on loading.

I ctrl+alt+del the nvidia thingy, crash on loading again.

I'm rebooting now, see if that fixes it. Has anyone else had similar problems/crash problems with 0.8?

I CTD when EOD is done loading, too (didn't try a server with a different map yet). It's not that 800x600 thing, as I tried it both on 1280x960 and 1280x1024.

I have had something similar: When I click to join a server, PR crashes. I have tried 5 times now to play, but it won't.

*EDIT* I was able to get PR v0.8 working by changing screen resolution like it said.

Nvidia 9600GT and I did the thing about
changing the res. I did and issue still
occure just as these gents. Good day
