on the subject of smoke: ive used smoke (dave) grenades be fore and they never hit the ground and just explode they send a jet of smoke out the end of the grenade and you get an arc of smoke when you throw it.
also it burns for about 20-30 mins when i used one in a field.

Harrod200:"Fire.exe has committed an illegal operation and has been shut down"
Raniak : "Warning: May crash if fired upon."
M4sherman: "like peter pan but with tanks"

I don't know if this was alredy post or discuss, i tried to read all i could but i just entered this forum and i didn't had time to read all of this 93 pages, so here it goes:
from what i playd i think this mod is alredy pretty damn good, i would like to thanks all the team for their explendid work. also i have a sugestion that would make this mod trully even more popullar that it is alredy, imagine a ranking system only for PRMM, as in the original bf2 you could win medals weapons and stuff, that would atract a larger number of players, the so called "stats hores". i don't even know if it is possible to implement but i think it would really help.

Alternative Battlefield Ranking is a 3rd party ranking system approved by DICE. This is avaliable on several servers including -SAS- and Gloryhoundz. But -SAS- will be taking them down, as we've had stat padders come on, plus it lags the server alot.={Av-PT-K}=Fugitivo wrote:I don't know if this was alredy post or discuss, i tried to read all i could but i just entered this forum and i didn't had time to read all of this 93 pages, so here it goes:

If you wanna play on an ABR server, just look for ABR in the server browser

Sorry to hear that. It's crazy how something just meant to be a fun bonus like stat-tracking can bring out the absolute worst in some players...Peter-SAS wrote:Alternative Battlefield Ranking is a 3rd party ranking system approved by DICE. It's human nature to be gready, even if it's imaginary awards and points...
...Pathetic. I just play, and whatever I get, I get. I'm no better or worse for it regardless of my points or K/D ratio.
Some of the awards are fun to try to get like the explosives ordinance ones or whatever. Just try to setup C4 booby traps everywhere. hehe

Type 99 MBT - replace the base Chinese tank with the Type 99, its is an upgrade to the Type 98 tank, the tank looks more tough then the Type 98 becouse its model more detailed. the tank can be changed to the Type 99 with little bit remodeling the base 98 model.

Hmm, though limited in numbers, that Type-99 would be an interesting addition, like if it was placed in certain maps in limited numbers.
Shotguns:
The pellets need to be more centralized, the deviation is just too large, that may be accurate if it's an illegal length sawed off lol, but it needs to be less, as it still is effective up to 25 yards-(Ok, I might be BSing but I am guessing roughly).

I make these suggestions humbly as I have no clue how to do any of this stuff myself and I thank all of you modders who work hard to bring greater enjoyment to my game experience.
1. The flags need to be removed. Not the flags on the maps but the ones I see while running around.
2. Team name tags need to be removed. With this you'll probably need to make different skins because it's hard for me to tell the difference between an enemy and friend by the skins only. Or you could just stick to recognizing friendly by radar.
3. Enemy infantry still appears on the map. It happens when somebody calls out 'sniper spotted' or something like that. When a teamate calls out 'enemy sighted' only your teamate should blink not the enemy as well. I think enemy aircraft should show up on radar, maybe tanks/apc as well.
I played the mod today. I like it but it still needs some work. Again, I say this humbly as I don't know how to do this myself and my hat goes off to all of you guys who put in many hours doing this stuff

1. You can press ALT and they should go away!Vonhelm wrote:I make these suggestions humbly as I have no clue how to do any of this stuff myself and I thank all of you modders who work hard to bring greater enjoyment to my game experience.

2. Ye I agree - friendly name tags suck a bit...but I heard a way to remove them on the client side. I think though that the skins are good as they the difficulty to distinguish is quite accurate to RL
3. Not to sure, in RL I would say - heads up sniper 300 metres away on the hill between the two oil drums - and everyone would know where he was!
Good thoughts though - and nice to have another player here!
