Congradulation R-Dev, 83 500++ downloads so far !

I was checking FilePlanet and 190 504 peoples download the core but only 83 500 can play since they download level core too
Thats a good result especialy in only 3 days and they add more on this, only 9 931 peoples download PoE2 wich is the second most played mod on BF2.

Lol nice, although I think the majority of us restarted our download at least twice or three times which is probably why the number is so disproportionately high.

File Planet used the old stats off our old (core) releases, ie, that number of downloads also includes versions v0.3, v0.4, v0.5, v0.6, v0.7 etc.

But ye, File Planet didn't even say anywhere that you need the Levels files, they in fact made it look like it was a extra file in there desc...

I feel tha Fileplanet didnt really hold up to their end of the bargain.. I thought that Warhammer pic would get replaced... but no.

well at least we can say that since .7 those 83000 have downloaded the game. but yeah fileplanet did some bad publishing on this, but i guess that they did it for free so i guess they wouldn't use to much time on it.

i think most use torrent, it provides awesome speed...

If you count some of the other mirrors, you'll come out at over 6000 downloads. That's including the torrent. Surprisingly enough, the torrent wasn't all that popular. Perhaps it's because the tracker was suffering from the same problems that plagued the website on the 30th.

None of what you said actually is true.

As Rhino said they updated the file so that is apparently some kind of random hybrid of figures taken from past releases.

Also on PoE, saying they only recieved 9k downloads is pretty wrong since fileplanet don't have EXCLUSIVE access to the download, fileplanet is one of FOUR official download mirrors along with many unofficial ones.
