March Wallpaper Competition Winners!

Post by JS.Fortnight.A »

Well seeing that we're already quite a ways into April, and with the host of the wallpaper competition, [R-DEV]UK_Force, being preoccupied with Tourney activities, with which I thank him for. People still need to gain the recognition they deserve, and therefore I need to announce who won the month of March (British themed) PR wallpaper competition!

1st place: Pence; with his work: chadger3mo.jpeg

2nd: [R-PUB]YoJimbo: projectrealitymarch2006entryyo

3rd: [R-DEV]Happy (although devs aren't allowed to actively enter, Happy was still a pub at the time of judging.): img.php

There were several other works that we felt were very nice and well thought out, however they failed to add in some British element to the work, and therefore were dropped from the final set in the judging. Sometimes its just best to slap on a nice batch of text and keep it simple, right Happy? :D Congratulations to the winners and thank you to everyone who submitted entries, we heartily acknowledge every persons contributions. Until next time! ;)

You do know that icons add to lag? It does not matter on my computer but i still leave my desktop blank of any icons.

Anyway i am happy i won, i was as happy as a base camper when i saw it.

I LOVE TIMESPLITTERS! That game cost me and my friends to be absent between classes at college sooooo much. it was like a craze, the 4 of us would sit around the PS2 yelling and jumping up and down, we had all these special game modes and stuff we made up, it was fantastic!

It does, icons carry a few kb's and if you keep selecting items on your desktop over a period then Windows thinks it has a problem and sends you that stupid 'failed device' warning.
