Hi all,

I, like most everyone else in .8, have been getting wicked CTD's, making the game nearly unplayable. This is a shame, because it is by far the best realistic squad based shooter out there. I have tried every solution posted, and some of them only made the problem worse, and one even made it so as soon as i clicked on any server to join it would crash. I just started playing during .8, so I don't have an old version to delete, and I downloaded both files. I am able to play, sometimes for even an hour before CTD, but this is rare. It gets kind of annoying having your game close in the middle of a firefight and your whole squad dies because you were the medic or support gunner, and then you can't get back in your squad because someone takes your place before you can restart and rejoin the game. The problem seems to have gotten worse lately, I think one of the "fixes" I tried may have messed something up.
