Fire mode sound effect
This only seems to happen on Mutthrah City so far. When I bring up ironsites or a scope I hear what sounds like the my weapon switching fire modes. Not once has it actually switched without my input but it is confusing. If it's nothing more then ambient noise that sounds alot like the fire mode selection sound file then please delete this post.

Re: Fire mode sound effect
I can hear switching sound everytime gettin' from water or vehicle.
Also, when shooting from Type-89 heavy MG and QBZ-95, I can hear only first shot in a burst.
My soundcard is X-Fi ExtremeGamer with latest drivers.

If you are both on x-fi cards and have BF2/pr set to Ultra High sound settings, try turning the settings to just High, (you wont want to , i know, i didn't). I doubt you will notice a difference in the sound and it might well get rid of your sound anomalies, it did for me.
You can always turn your settings back.

Re: Fire mode sound effect
I don't have any kind of good sound card just a basic sound blaster from 2004 or 05. I always run with medium sound quality and don't ask the card to run anything more then 16 channels. I just found it so puzzling that this only ocurrs on the one map. Thanks for the replies.
