[Mortars] Reload time is borked

Ok i've been the insurgent Commander a few times now. And i've noticed the delay and number of mortars available seems very different on different maps.

For example on Archer i was able to fire a succession of mortar attacks in a matter of minutes, but on Ramien i only got one.. and then a very long re-charge time.

I've been unable to find any info in the wiki or pdf, maybe i missed it.

Could one of the DEVs or anyone else with knowledge of this fill me in, or point to towards the info pls.

The info i'm after is.. on each map, initial charge times, number of barrages and recharge between them and just how the whole shebang works.

The initial charge times and recharge times are the same and standarized in v0.8 to 30 min. It will send 10 rounds to the target.

If you were able to fire faster than that in Archer, than it's a bug or a glitch of some kind.

Thanks.. must of been a bug then, as on Archer i was able to fire 5 mortar barrages with approximately 60 second recharge time between each.

(I/we cleared the big hill on Archer of US forces with 3 consecutive mortar strikes in under 3 minutes! poor squad thought they were safe up their with their fancy scoped rifles!)



EDIT: Maybe a Mod could change the title to include BUG Report and put this in the right section.

p.s if it was a glitch.. i have no info that might help id it. I just did the normal commander stuff.. sitting in my box doing my thing.

We have called in 3-4 mortar strikes on Basrah in a short periode of time

Or maybe you were playing Training where the barrage reload time is like 2 minutes.

The server doesn't run training maps.

x2 here, managed to send 4 mortar strikes on Al Bas one after another.... It was the best time of my life...
