Scopes zeroed ranges

First off I love this mod, thanks to all concerned for the efforts made bringing this masterpiece to the world of online gaming.

Just one question I hope someone can answer for me.

What ranges are the various scopes and ironsights zeroed for?

I know sniper and marksman already as I RTFM ;)

Sorry if this has been answered before and thanks in advance!

Assault rifles are zeroed at 300m I think but I am not sure.

I thought it was assault rifles zeroed at 400, DMR and snipers at 600. Could be wrong though.

sniper rifle rounds dip a bit @ 500 meters. i don't care what the manual says, i tried it in local.

Again, the guns are not zeroed.

If you would like to find the drop at a range for some type of gun use this

Drop = (Distance/Velocity)*(Gravity*GravityModifier)

so velocity for most guns could be said to be around 800m/sec (if you want to calculate the drop better look in the guns tweak file to find its velocity). Bf2 gravity is 14.86m/sec afaik, and rifles use a gravitymod of 0.3, snipers a mod of 0.1.

also I made a range card for the m40a3 in another thread and iirc the drop at 1000m was about the size of a person in bf2, so you just needed to aim a players hight above the target@ 1000m.

Effective ranges:

0-10 meters: Support Gunner (un-deployed version)
0-50 meters: Sub machine gun, Pistol
0-200 meters: Rifleman (Iron/reflex sight)
30-300 meters: Rifleman (scoped)
30-350 meters: Support Gunner (deployed version)
30-400 meters: Marksman
30-600 meters: LAT
50-950 meters: Sniper, HAT

The maximum range does not guarantee a hit every time; it's more like 50%.
