Squad Assignment Button Bug

Hi there, I'm new to this forum, but I've been playing PR for a while now. With Version 0.8 I've had a few of the common bugs, which have pretty much been overcome now and on some servers it works fine. However with the majority of servers I try to connect to I have a problem; the game loads and when the squad assignment buttons appears it seems as though it doesn't work. Nothing happens when I click on it, and afer a few minutes of trying to click and press enter, it goes back to the server selection screen.
It's really anoying as I downloaded v0.8 a fair few days ago, and still havn't really been able to try it out properly.
Has anybody else had this problem? And can anybody please offer a solution?

Have you tried spawning before choosing the squad?
Does this happen also when server changes the map?

When I say the squad assignment button, I'm refering to the button that until v0.8 said "Join game". After the game loads, still on the loading screen, after the game 100% loads, there is some writing that says something like verifying sources (as usual), and then when it's ready up pops the button that says squad assigment, for you to deploy into the game. However mine seems not to be working, because when I click on it, nothing happens. So I never actually get into gameplay.

Don't hit the button, it will auto-join if you wait a full minute or two.
Do that when you have a slow computer.

ive seen this but this happens to the whole server and no one can get in a squad or make new ones before the bug hits. had to restart the whole server.

That usually happens when a server has crashed. If not try hitting escape (still works like vBF2)
