Forum problem: first page became last page

I am having to go to the bottom last page to read the first thing posted. Am I doing something wrong or is this reversal of the norm as I experience it intended? Either way is there a way for me to go back to read from post 1 on page 1 onwards?

I found the setting:

User CP > Edit Options > Thread Display Options > Thread Display Mode > Linear - Oldest First

Perhaps this Linear - Oldest/Newest First distinction could be added to the Display Modes drop down menu as it seems potentially useful to be able to switch quickly between them.

Or, you can just click on the Last Post header.
