Smeg: Fuzz commands a lot and promotes good teamwork, db flips vehicles, Bosco is an all-round nub, Outlawz is an SP whore, Nickbond is a friggin ninja and Rhino gets kicked for being a n00b.

I believe to introduce that training mode was a great idea despite the now more frequent sightings of vBF2 kids and regular noobs.
Now you actually have the opportunity to practice with weapons you only knew to use to a certain extend or even not at all. This combined with facing real targets really makes a big difference.
And that so often blamed spawn raping / camping you most likely will only encounter on Kashan Desert. But this map needs some serious tweaking towards training mode balance.
It starts with MEC not having a command post which renders them unable to resupply vehicles / destroy constructions or even deploy serious squad play. They do not have any air vehicles either. With that apparent imbalance it was determined to attract a lot of vBF2 kids. You can easily see it on connecting to the server. The majority of the players is joining US.
Thats why I say either restore the balance you have on the regular Kashan Desert or tune it towards a balanced training state. I mean what is it good for using bombers on a bunch of grouped up guys functioning as target dummies.
Thus will not help develop serious skills on either side.
And given that training servers attract more noobs with a specific attitude which the regular PR player finds highly disgusting I myself see as a blessing because in that manner those noobs will stick only to those servers leaving the rest alone. At the same time I am not saying every beginner has a bad attitude / plays only minding his own needs. Take it as a filter or a selective measure. Those really interested in Project Reality will read the manual, will try to advance and ultimately become respective members of the community. That average vBF2 kid never would hold out long enough; It would just get bored and quit.
So in my humble opinion the PR world is still in perfect order.

Good post guys. There are alot of ways to look at the training server situation. Alot of pro's and con's came from this discussion. I believe the PR people will continue to improve the training maps in the future. They did a great job on this mod!
Have a great weekend of PR soldiers.
